Cowboys Salary Cap Breakdown

Final project for the Data Visualization course at CU Boulder. The brief was open: pick a topic, do an EDA, build a useful viz. I picked the Dallas Cowboys' 24–25 salary cap. The recent contract structures had become controversial, and I wanted to see how the dollars actually distributed across the roster.

The dataset is hand-assembled from public reporting (acknowledging some rounding error and human-input risk, documented in the repo). The visualization shows where the dollars concentrate, what the dead-money picture looks like, and how the top-of-the-roster contracts shape what's left for the rest.

A small project, but a useful one, and the first time I built a from-scratch dataset for a viz deliverable rather than reaching for someone else's CSV.
